ULBRICHTS Protection beliefert die Polizei des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) mit ballistischen Titanhelmen. Mit dem Anspruch, gr\u00f6\u00dftm\u00f6gliche Sicherheit f\u00fcr die Einsatzkr\u00e4fte zu gew\u00e4hrleisten, fiel die Wahl der Landesregierung in D\u00fcsseldorf auf einen Helm mit der h\u00f6chsten am Markt verf\u00fcgbaren ballistischen Schutzwirkung.<\/p>\n

Es handelt es sich um einen Helm des Modells HOPLIT F 1100 H, d.h. einen Titan-Aramid-Helm, der in Kombination mit dem modularen FORTIS-Stirnschild wirksam gegen Beschuss aus einem Kalaschnikow-Sturmgewehr sch\u00fctzt. Dies entspricht der Pr\u00fcfstufe VPAM 6 der europaweit anerkannten Vereinigung der Pr\u00fcfstellen f\u00fcr angriffshemmende Materialien und Konstruktionen (VPAM). \u201eDas Erreichen eines wirksamen Schutzes gegen den Beschuss aus einer Kalaschnikow hat uns zusammen mit der Anforderung eines m\u00f6glichst geringen Gewichts vor enorme Herausforderungen gestellt\u201c, erl\u00e4utert Georg Scharpenack, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer von ULBRICHTS Protection.\u00a0 \u201eDurch die Kombination der Werkstoffe Titan und Aramid ist uns in Verbindung mit der Entwicklung eines innovativen Stirnschilds ein gro\u00dfer technologischer Sprung zum Schutz von Polizisten im Einsatz gelungen.\u201c<\/p>\n

Heute wurden in K\u00f6ln die ersten Exemplare des Hightech-Kopfschutzes \u00fcbergeben, der zus\u00e4tzlich mit einem Splitterschutzvisier ausgestattet ist. Damit verf\u00fcgen die Streifenbeamten zeitnah \u00fcber einen wirksamen Kopfschutz des derzeit h\u00f6chsten Schutzlevels. Mit einem Gesamtgewicht von rund 3,3 Kilogramm \u2013 inklusive Schild, Visier und Adapter \u2013 ist der Helm dabei voll einsatztauglich.<\/p>\n

Hintergrund: Wirksamer Schutz gegen Kugelbeschuss<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ballistische Helme f\u00fcr Polizisten bieten dann einen wirksamen Schutz gegen Kugelbeschuss, wenn sie das Projektil zuverl\u00e4ssig stoppen und gleichzeitig ein t\u00f6dliches Trauma beim Helmtr\u00e4ger verhindern. Ein solches Trauma kann durch die beim Aufprall der Kugel \u00fcbertragene Energie entstehen. Experten haben einen Restenergiewert von 25 Joule definiert und in Richtlinien festgeschrieben (z.B. VPAM HVN 2009). Dieser darf nicht \u00fcberschritten werden, da sonst irreversible bzw. t\u00f6dliche Kopfverletzungen drohen. Der Titan-Aramid-Helm HOPLIT F 1100 H (VPAM 4+) ist in Kombination mit dem VPAM-6-Stirnschild FORTIS in der Lage, die Geschossenergie eines Kalaschnikow-Projektils (7,62 mm x 39 Eisenkern) von \u00fcber 2000 Joule und einer Geschwindigkeit von rund 720 Metern pro Sekunde auf deutlich unter 25 Joule zu reduzieren.
